Brief Description: Made Spacers for the hold-down bolts
Made Spacers for the hold-down bolts and hold-down bars. The bolts tightened all the way in resulted in a holf inch gap between the bolt and the hold-down bars. Not being able to find needed spacers in stores, I bought an aluminum 1/2" rod and drilled the center for a 1/4" bolt. A 1/2" spacer was needed to obtain a good clamping of the batteries by the hold-downs.
Drilled two holes in the brass grounding bar to expose the screws that will be attaching the tray to the baggage support ribs. My plan is to use the brass bar as a ground bus bar for a cagle from the "forrest of tabs", one from each battery negative terminal and at least one connected to the fuselage at a longeron. There will be a tab riveted to the longeron and the grounding ccable will be bolted to this tab.
