Brief Description: Surface converted the interior of fuselage tail
Surface converted the interior of the fuselage tail. I was going to leave the tail unpainted as long as I felt that the undamaged Alclad would be protection enough against corrosion. This would save some weight. But I did notice some small areas of what looked like early stages of surface corrosion when the blue protective cover was removed. I have decided to surface convert the skin and prime the surface of the interior.
Drilled and dimpled the bottom skin in the bay aft of the aft baggage area for a stiffener to be installed to prevent the skin from oil canning.
