Brief Description: Drilled holes in Horizontal Stabilizer to the fuse
Drilled holes in Horizontal Stabilizer to the fuselage after rechecking the levels of the fuselage laterally and in pitch. Drilled matching #30 holes in the rear spar through the Stabilizer Attachment bars. Started drilling the front spar angle with a #40 bit and progressed to a #30 bit and finally the #12 bit.
Need to call Van's as to how to check the level of the Horizontal Stabilzer to the fuselage. It needs to be zero degrees but I can't be obtained a measurement by just placing the level on the front and rear spars. They are each of different heights. The chord of the HS needs be level with the upper longeron. The answer to the above needs to be answered before I final drill the #30 hole in the Rear Stabilizer to #12 size.
