Brief Description: Started to install Right mid longeron nutplates
Started to install Right mid longeron nutplates whike trying to use a hand squeezer to squeeze the rivets. With the skin and longerons in the way, I could not get a good rivet set, the squeezer just couldn't get in close enough. Those that I did get set, I had to grind the heads to get them flush to the surface. I used what 3/32" blind rivets that I had to attachsome of the nutplates. One, I drilled out a nutplate to 1/8" and used a 1/8" flush blind rivet that I had and this worked well but I don't want to drill out all of the nutplates just to use the 1/8" rivets that I have on hand. I'll order some more 3/32" blind rivets, remove the poorly set rivets and finish this task later.
