Brief Description: Gears and Timing Chains Installed
Gears and Timing Chains Installed. Checked the Valve Lifter Gaps. Since the valves and seats were ground, the sizes of most of the spacers that sit on top of the valve stems, underneath the lifter caps, need to be thinner. The stems protrude more now. I'll have to order new spacers. Some of the gaps were so tight that the ordering of new spacers is going to be a best guess effort. I averaged the size changes of the rest of the valve stems and will order these very tight valves with a spacer that is as value less then the average by two sizes. Hopefully, this will work out.
