Changed the Flaps' Connecting Rods To Avery's Rods. These have a hexagonal shape and are substantially stronger and better made then the builder fabricated rods. Checked the flaps operations throughout their range. Max. extension is 40 degrees and the flaps each meet up well with their fuselage fairings in the zero degree position. Both of the flaps need to have a rivet or two installed to attach the lower flap skin to the top skin that forms the rear edge and then projects forward. The plans don't show rivets here but it is obvious that they are needed.
