Installed Missing Bolts on Each Weldment. When the landing gear weldment was installed, the bolt most inboard on each weldment was missing. This meant doing it the hard way. It is always easier to do it right the first time rather then having to fix a problem. In order to get access to secure the nuts and washers on these bolts, the control column had to be disconnected and freed up to allow a reach through the center pass-through of the spar box. Then with a modified wrench on a stick, the bolts were secured and torqued.
