Brief Description:  Installed Four Close Tolerance Bolts in Each Wing

Installed Four Close Tolerance Bolts in Each Wing Spar. This was accomplished only after the aircraft was up on jacks and the landing gear weldments had been loosened to allow some movement. The wing bolts had to be coaxed through the landing gear weldments because they were not aligned with the fuselage spar box. Apparently, with the engine in place and the journey to the airport as contributors, the landing gear weldments had changed alignment with the spar box just enough to prevent advancing the close tolerance wing bolts. The fuselage was jacked up enough to get the main gear off of the ground. The weldments were loosened from the spar box and weght was applied to the gear to get the needed alignment. The left weldment also needed to have the lower leg of the weldment that bolts to the lower longeron loosened to get alignment.
