Brief Description: Worked on Shaping the Bottom Front Of Cowling
Worked on Shaping the Bottom Front Of Cowling by first cutting across the entire front of the cowling halves. This freed the flat cowling bottom halves from the transitioning of the front of the cowling from above to the flat bottom. Using aluminum strips and clecos, we pinned the different mobile sections together without stress. We were able to pull the cowling into shape where there was a need by looping some string through a pair of holes drilled in the cowling and then tying the string to the engine mount. Tis worked quite well to help shape the complex curves of the front bottom corner of the cowling.
