Brief Description:  Glued the Canopy Skirts with SikaFlex

Glued the Canopy Skirts with SikaFlex. Used a Canopy Frame Stand that I made to make the gluing task easier. This way inside areas will be easier to reach for both the administration of adhesive as well as the formation of the fillets. Taped the areas adjacent to the Epoxy/Micro/Flox spacers that are on the inside surface of the skirts. These spacers will get SikaFlex Adhesive applied and the tape will define the limits of adhesive on these surfaces. The areas were cleaned, primed with SikaFlex Primer and then adhesive was applied 20 minutes later. The skirt was placed carefully on the caopy frame and clecoed in place. Excess SikaFlex the extruded from the skirt/canopy junction was used to fill any gaps in the junction and to form a small fillet. SikaFlex was finger swiped along the canopy frame/skirt junctions forming a fillet in these area. All of the tape was pulled. Overall, a good result. I will decide later if I am going to add a few backup rivets to the skirt/frame for additional security. Right now, I think the adhesive is more then enough to hold the skirt.
