Installed VoiceFlight USB Update Port in the baggage compartment.
Using the 4.8V Excitatory power from the GRT EIS, I installed a power bus terminal in the baggage compartment. This voltage is needed for the installation of the backup GPS for the EFISs and is labeled as GPS2 on the EFISs of the source.
Wired the Garmin GPS 18x LVC as the backup GPS. I am receiving a serial count on the EFIS but no data is being reported. I'll have to troubleshoot this problem. It appears that I have wired everything correctly.
