Brief Description: Initial Fitting of the Windscreen
Initial Fitting of the Windscreen. Taped 1/8" Spacers to the roll bar. Made measurements for the best centerline. This is difficult since there are many ways to align the windscreen. The windscreen aligns itself as a result of the the cuts made while fitting the canopy while it was in one piece. Now, the windscreen does not seem to look right when I use my best measurement of what is the center point of the windscreen and the center point of the rollbar and top skin. Aligning the bottom edges of the windscreen along what seems like symetrical points along the surface of the top skin, I positioned the windscreen on the rollbar and aligned the center of the windscreen as close to center of the rollbar. The results seem quite acceptable when viewed from the front and laterally across the rollbar. I marked the top skin/windscreen junction for both future placements of the windscreen and for the top skin area inside the windscreen that will need to be painted an anti-glare flat black.
