Brief Description:  Established a Contour Line for the Upper Aft Skirt

Established a Contour Line for the Upper Aft Skirt. I marked a bunch of reference points measures from the leading edge of the skirt sides and marked the skirt. From these points, I measured perpendicular to the bottom edge of the skirt to the top of the skirt edge. I compared the corresponding measurements bilaterally and marked both sides the same. I used the best measurement that provided what appeared to provide an acceptable transitional line from the sides to the center of the aft skirt centerline. Tomorrow I'll conservatively sand the line, comparing the results bilaterally for symmetry.

Applied a peanut butter consistency micro slurry to the angle line formed by the side upper lips and the side panels of the skirts. Shaped the transition using the curvature of a 2" PVC pipe. This worked well untill the slurry started to sag on the vertical surfaces. I thought the slurry was stiff enough not to sag, but it did sag. Wiped the slurry off and reapplied a slurry containing some Cabosil. This worked well and stayed in place. Will sand this transition tomorrow.
