Brief Description:  Sanded the Recently Glassed Fracture Line Glass

Sanded the Recently Glassed Fracture Line Glass on the inside of the skirts.

Clecoed the Skirts to the Canopy.

Trimmed the forward top skin and canopy skirt ends that meet when the canopy is closed.

Heat treated the skirts upper edges where they lay against the canopy. Since applying the interior glass to the skirts, there is a return of gaps along the Skirt/Canopy junction. Heat helps some but not as much as it did the first time I adjusted the Skirt edges. I have been trying to avoid any holes in the canopy by gluing the canopy and planned gluing of the skirts. It now looks like I will have to use some stategically placed clecos to hold the skirts in place during the filling of the skirt/canopy junction and subsequent gluing of the skirts. The clecos holding the sides in place are adequate for the task but there is nothing in the aft end to accurately hold the skirts in place. The skirts do tend to wander in the aft end and positioning is not consistent without the help of something to fix the position of the skirts.
