Brief Description: Installed Nutplates for the HS/VS Fairing
Installed Nutplates for the HS/VS Empennage Fairing.
Clecoed the Fairing in place.
Decided to stick with the plans for the gap seal on the bottom of the Horizontal Stabilizer instead of fabricating my own fiberglass fairings. With the good fit of the upper fairing and the planned modification of the forward wrap around of the HS, the standard gap seal will better blend with the fiberglass modification.
Drilled the rear attachment holes to the longeron. The holes were drill with a #36 bit and will be tapped to a #6 screw.
