Sanded Empennage Fairings with 120 Grit Paper.
Called Sam James about the use of Awl Fair. This is the filler that he recommends after doing a fiberglass layup. My question was whether the Awl Fair is used to shape the glass surface or as a pin hole filler. He said it does both. In the future, I'll use it for both but for now I'll try using it as my initial attempt for pin hole filling on the microballoon slurry layer.
Applied another layer of Awl Fair to the rudder bottom fairing to better finish the fairing.
