Brief Description: Finished Assembly of a Downdraft Box
Finished Assembly of a Downdraft Box. I put some perforated 2" PVC piping inside a 3" x 3" Box topped with some white louver panels that I got in the wood section of Home Depot. I may need to add another tube down the middle if this arrangement proves to be lacking. My main plan is to attach the box to my larger whole shop vac via a 4" hose. This should give me plenty of evacuation. The question is whether the bag of this vac will contain the fiberglass dust. When I use my Shop Vac, I will attach to the 2" PVC with a flexible rubber coupling because of the O.D. differences.
