Brief Description: Attached the Engine to the Fuselage
Attached the Engine to the Fuselage. Carefully hoisted the engine after strategical placement of several straps to control the tilt of the engine. Aligned the engine with the holes in the firewall. Enlarged these holes in the firewall using long shaft 5/16" and 3/8" drill bits and the mount as a guide. Temporarily secured the mount using castle nuts but will use metal stop nuts for the final installation.
Attached the nose gear assembly using a AN5-20A bolt but it was too short. There were not any threads showing beyond the metal stop nut. I'll have to order longer bolts and replace the current bolt.
