Fabricated Rudder Pedal Extensions from 0.125" aluminum that has a 35-40 degree bend at about 1 inch from one edge. The extensions were trimmed to fit the 1 inch wide area on the back of the rudder pedals. I decided to make the length of the extension, from the rudder pedal bottom to the bottom of the extension, 2.5 inches. The doubler, to be attached at the bottom of the extension, is 1 inch wide and will be riveted into place. Lightening holes, similar to those in the toe of the rudder pedal, will be made in the space between the bottom of the rudder pedal and the doubler.
