Brief Description: Installed a Stud Grounding Block on the Brace
Installed a Stud Grounding Block on the Brace for additional grounding options. A 14ga was already available to be used on the stud to run the grounds' energy to the firewall. This 14ga. wire was ran for use with the prop but was not needed. I attached the block to the brace, just to the left of the avionics pack, using ProSeal adhesive. The block was made from Delron that was drilled and countersunk for the head of a #8 screw. A nut fixes the screw in place. Ground wire terminals can now be stacked on the post and secured with a washer and locknut.
