Brief Description: Clecoed the Forward Top Skin in place
Clecoed the Forward Top Skin in place so that the firewall, baggage compartment bulkhead and the Instrument Panel were fixed in their rigid positions. This was needed before I could install the AHRS mount and drill the forward attachment points of the mount to the brace on the aft part of the baggage compartment. Once the mount was in its proper position, #19 holes were match drilled through the mount foward legs and the brace.
With the Avionics Rack was also in its fixed position, I fabricated and attached a delron block that fits under the SL-40 aft lip. This block fills the gap between the lip and the brace and will support any downward movements of the avionics rack.
