Brief Description: Mounted Gretz to VP Conversion Circuit Board
Mounted Gretz to VP Conversion Circuit Board on the angle brace, forward of the instrument panel, on left side. The circuit board will convert the Gretz heated pitot tube operation indicator currents, that would normally be displayed as lit colored LED lights, into ground signals that the VP System uses to turn indicators on and off. The operating status of the heated pitot tube will now be displayed on the VP display panel as lighted messages.
I cut a pair of spacers to lift the circuit board high enough to prevent the soldered circuits from contacting the brace on which it is mounted.
Ordered Nylock connectors to be able to connect the EIS Box to the Pitot/Static system.
