Brief Description: Drilled Slider Block for Pivot Pin and Cotter Pin
Drilled Slider Block for Pivot Pin and Cotter Pin. The Anchor Pin of the Canopy Frame is supposed to run 1/16" - 3/32" above the Slider Cap. The Slider Block does not come pre-drilled. The distance has to be determined in vivo. I used staight edge that had a thickness of 3/32" as a spacer on top of the Slider Cap for measuring where to drill the Slider Block hole. Once in place, the Slider Block will pivot where attached to the canopy frame.
After drilling the hole, the Pin is mostly 1/16" above the cap but does very slightly. At least it does not bottom out anywhere along its travel.
Drilled a hole for the cotter pin that secures the Pivot Pin. That came out nicely.
