Brief Description: Installed Switches in the Fwd Right Switch Panel
Installed Switches in the Fwd Right Switch Panel. I was going to use as much of the panel as possible only to discover that the upper most 1/4 of the panel is pretty much out of sight on the RV-8A. Therefore, I started mounting the dimmers at a point that I thought would be at least partially visible. These dimmers will be used to dim the Instrument Panel LED lights and the other dimmer will be used to dim the Flight Instruments' lighting. I wasn't sure of what I wanted to use for spacing of the switches. I decided to space the switches with switch covers 1.5" apart to allow for labeling space. Other switches were spaces 1" apart. I need to order a couple more switches to complete the panel. I need to add a switch for the rear stick isolation disabling switch, the aux power outlet/map lights disabling switch and an aux. power outlet (Cigarette Lighter).
