Brief Description: Worked on the Installation of the Tip Lights
Worked on the Installation of the Tip Lights.
Used the light mounting plate to match drill three attachment holes in the tips. These holes were drilled to #26 and then drilled for nutplates. The nutplate rivet holes were countersunk.
I cut the opening in the tips for the insertion of the light assembly. After drawing the lines for the cut, I drilled the corners and then cut the fiberglass using a dremel cutting disk.
I deburred the light assembly parts and surface converted the bulb holder parts.
