Brief Description:  Split and Fit Cowling Oil Cooler Duct

Split and Fit Cowling Oil Cooler Duct to match the Oil Cooler Duct attached to the engine. Next, I'll need to work on alignment of the edges and a possible seling of the gaps solution. If I can get the edges close in both distance and alignment, there won't be any need for a gap seal. This would make cowling installation easier and simpler.

Sanded the top corners of the cowling, removing most of the hard, brown filler. This filler was added initially to form a blister into which the inside of the cowling could be gouged to provide space for the forward corners of the engine mount. After applying honeycomb to the interiior and glassing the interior recess made to accommodate the mount it seemed unnecessary to keep the external blister filler. Thsi proved true after finishing the sanding. Most of the filler was removed without compromise. Sanding the hard filler with adjacent softer filler made shaping difficult. The tendency is to remove too much soft filler and not enough hard filler. Hopefully now, shaping of the top front of the cowlig will be easier now.
