Brief Description: Finished the Fairing Hinges Installation
Finished the Fairing Hinges Installation. Drilled the holes through the fairings to the marks on the hinges. Countersunk the fairings using the hinges as guides for the countersink. Riveted the hinges to the fairings using a reduced crush to avoid amaging the fibergrass from too much compression. Cut the hinge pins to size with a 90 degree bend at the last inch of the outboard end. Drilled a hole in the fairing for the safety wire that will secure the hinge pin.
