Brief Description: Finished Avionics Installation and Power Up
Installed 45 degree outlet backshells on the Dual AHRSs 25 pin connectors.
Finished Avionics Installation and Power Up. Have two problems to resolve.
When each EFIS is powered, the other EFIS also powers up. This has to be related to the wiring of the TCW IBBS secondary power source for the EFISs and AHRSs that I completed since the last avionics installation and testing. Apparently, the power is finding its way back to the secondary power wires for the EFISs.
Tested the backup powers to the avionics. Everything seems to work except for the backups to the G-430W. Testing the wires to the Backup Tabs of the switch showed one of the wires is without power. I'll research this tomorrow when I'm fresh.
