Brief Description: Adjusted the flap position sensor setup
Installed the flap position sensor using the newer model of mount I fabricated. The mount is simpler and consists of a bend sufficient to roughly align the sensor with the flap actuator bar movement. Adjusted the flap position sensor setup after receiving a supply of adel clamps. It was a frustrating series of do and re-do as I moved the adel clamp along the flap actuator bar and adjusted the length of the threaded rod until the flap position sensor arm just bearly traveled throughout its range and no more, no less. At one point, I exceeded the range and pulled the sensor arm out of its position internally. This meant taking the sensor apart and replacing the arm to its correct location. Not a difficult task but a new one for me.
