Brief Description: Bent the Left tank supply to the Andair Valve
Bent the left tank supply to the Andair Selector Valve. This took about three attempts. Since the exit hole to the tank through the fuselage was just aft of the valve, I decided to run the line from the valve with the AN elbow facing forward. This allowed me to form gentle curve as I ran the line to the fuselage exit. I had some extra 3/8' tubing so I made a template that I copied for the final product.
Lessons learned: 1. Don't put the flair and hardware on the tank end of the line. This end has to pass through the fuselage grommet.
2. Put the grommet in the hole before trying to install the fuel line. The grommet can't be manipulated into position with the fuel line already passing through the fuselage hole. Since I am working in such a tight space with the side skin in place, I had to remove the valve and its bracket to be able to insert the finished line through the now installed grommet.
