Attached 200A ANL holders to platforms.
Crimped and soldered lug terminals to the first of many #4 welder cables. First, I used a sharp ravor to cut the insulation about 1/8" longer then the cable band on the terminal. Using 1/4" solid copper 18 AWG wire pieces that were made pointed, I added four pieces to the center of the cable wires to make the cable fit snugger in the terminal lug. The lug was placed in a hammer crimper and hammered to the #4 indicator. After a pull test the terminals were soldered using Rosin Core 60/40 solder. Dual wall shrink tubing with the adhesive on the inside was heated to the terminal for mechanical stability of the terminal and wire.
