Brief Description: Made a doubler plate for the battery mount
Made a doubler plate for the battery mount from the same 2024 T3 aluminum sheet used for the battery mount. I'm placing the doubler between the bottom of the mount and the top of the baggage support ribs to act as a spacer and to thicken the area where the mounting screw holes will be countersunk. Lightening holes will be made where possible. Drilled #30 holes to rivet the doubler to the mount. Match drilled the screw holes.
