Brief Description: Drilled, converted, dimpled F-815C-R and F-820W
Drilled,deburred, converted, primed and dimpled the F-815C-R and F-820W replacement parts received late last night. It took 12 days from the order to the delivery. I had to call VAn's to voice my concerns about this slow delivery. It was five days before the order was sent to the shipper.
Riveted the MS-21053-L3 nutplates to to aft ends of the F-815C R&L after finding that a AN3-17 bolt was going to be inserted into it later. Initially, I could not recognize and separate these nutplates from the other one leg anchors in the bag. I used ACS catalogue for sight recognition and the drawings for the floor attachments to discover that the plans called for the AN3 bolt in this location. The AN3 bolt fits the MS-21053-L3 nutplate.
