Brief Description: Flange material removal from F-804A
Flange material removal from F-804A using the Dremel tool and a sanding drum. The material was slowly removed with frequent fitting of the landing gear weldments until the weldments sat flat on the F-804A web and there was about a 1/32" clearance with the weld.
The pictures show how the far the weldment is held off of the web prior to the removal of some of the flange material.
