Brief Description: Drilled flap ribs/skins and attached/drilled hinge
Drilled flap ribs/skins. Drilled the flap hinges with a 1/4" edge distance as recommended by Dan Chechoway on his web log. This is to avoid the possibility of not having enough edge distance on the flap gap seal attachment part of the hinge when I try to make suer that the flaps and the aileron trailing edges are even when they are attached to the wing.
I enlarged the rib to spar attachment holes to #30 for the LP3-4 blind rivets that are callout for in the drawings. This is in contrast to the written instructions in the plans where they were previously drilled to the #40 hole. I wa made aware of this on Dan Checkoway's web log site.
