This is some views of the RTV I used in the ailerons. I got the RTV from an auto parts store. It is used for making various gaskets/seals. It comes in several different types and uses but I was most interested in one that was specifically resistant to causing corrosion. There some that are not recommended for use in corrosion sensitive areas. RTV stands for Room Temperture Vulcanization. Vulcanization usually refers to the hardening of rubber but in this case, it refers to the solidifying of a silicone compound to a rubbery state.
