Brief Description: Completed Phase I Flight Test Period
Completed Phase I Flight Test Period. The goal was to complete my flight testing prior to the start of Oshkosh AirVenture. Unfortunately, with the piston failure and subsequent repair, the repeated delays in the repair process awaiting the arrival of needed parts and the need to complete the Phase I Flight Testing, I finished too late for this year's AirVenture. This was a real bummer considering the hours of hard work trying to make it happen. AirVenture was still going for another 3 days but if I went now, I'd be arriving at AirVenture when the homebuild area would be a virtual ghost town. The last days of Airventure is more for the locals than for builders. Oh well, there's next year.
