Brief Description: Installed the fuel return line in the right tank
Installed the fuel return line in the right tank using bending springs, flaring tool, proseal, and torque wrench. The flared tubing torque values for the 5/16" fitting is 60-85 inch-lbs. For the desired value of 75 inch-lbs with the crowfoot extension, the torque wrench needed to be set at 68 inch-lbs. to compensate for the crowfoot extension.
Instead of dumping the hot returned fuel in the second bay, I continued the line into the third bay. There I bent the line towards the bottom of the tank to minimize bubbling and aeration of the fuel. Proseal was put in the hole of the third rib to secure the return line and to prvent vibration damage.
