Brief Description: Fabricated Wing Jacking Point Fittings
Fabricated Wing Jacking Point Fittings made from aircraft tie down rings as described on Vansairforce by Larry Geiger (Geico266). Cut the greater portion of the ring off. Inserted the threaded remining portion in a drill and ground the head on a grinding wheel. Once satisfied with the shape, fine ground the head on a 3M wheel. They fit well into depressions I gouged out of the top of each jack's piston thereby producing a stable aircraft jacking system.
