Brief Description:  Talked to MT Propeller USA Electric Prop Guru

Talked to MT Propeller USA Electric Prop Guru, Juergen. He told me to check the functionof the propelle by disconnecting the prop motor wires from the mounting plate terminal that are on the front of the plate. These terminal make contact with the slipring on the aft side of the plate. With the motor isolated from the rest of the system, applying power to the wires should cause the blades to rotate and reversing polarity would make the blades rotate in the opposite direction. I s]was told to apply 12 V power but no greater then 2.5 Amps. To do this, I'll need a bench power unit to provide the power. I'll have to order one before I can proceed.
