Brief Description: Reinstalled Faps and Safety Wired the Hinge Pins
Reinstalled Faps and Safety Wired the Hinge Pins. The hinge pins were very difficult to install. Some of the eyelets suffered some abrasions from the hammer and vise grips used to get the pins installed. I assume there must be just enough misalignment of the eyelets to make the installation hard. Once the pins had been installed, there was no binding or noticable problems in the flaps' movement. I will fly with the current hinges but I plan on changing the hinges prior to painting. The current hinges would be too much of a problem for the painters as far as re-installing the pins.
