Brief Description: Adjusted the length of the Cowl Flap Linkage
Adjusted the length of the Cowl Flap Linkage. Cut 1" off of one end and re-tapped the end. This is again a ballpark estimate of the final length that will be needed until the Linear Actuator is mounted on the firewall. The Actuator position will have a lot to due with the arc swing of the arms and thus the total movement of the cowl flap. I will fabricate the remaining linkage and adjust this link as necessary after the Linear Actuator if installed.
Drilled 1/4" holes in the cowl flap arms. Attached the linkage to the cowl flap to test movements. It looks like this is going to work well.
