Rough Sanded Micro on about 2/3 of Cowling.
There is a rivet in the left upper corner of the firewall that attaches the leading edge of the forward top skin to the firewall. The space between the inside of the firewall and the engine mount is very small. I can't buck or squeeze any of the usual rivets in this small space. My friend Mike brought a short Cherry Max rivet that together, with me pulling outward slightly on the flange to increase the flange to mount distance, we were able to squeeze this special rivet. A good shop head was formed and the rivet looks great.
