Finished Molding Clay, Applied 2 Ply 9 oz Glass to the botom front of the cowling. Covered the clay with packing tape and polish before applying the glass. This should now close the bottom of the cowling so that I have something to work with for the continued fitting of the cowling. I still need to apply more layers of glass over all of the areas I just glassed and I see now that the lower front of the cowling needs to be tappered upward when viewed from the sides. There is a downward droop from the firewall towards the front of the cowling that will look better if tapered upward. I'll address this after I get a better all around fit to the cowling to the aircraft. I also see other areas that could need reshaping before I am finished.
