Sanded down to the Orange Tape which is on top of the bottom yellow tape. I did this in increments by first sanding down to the white tape, removing it then sanded to the orange tape. There are some areas along the tape that sand down to the binding side of the fiberglass tape that I used. This requires the binding to be sanded and in doing so, sands through some of the fiberglass where it is thinest next to the tape. I reapplied the tapes up to the white color and reapplied some blackened epoxy/micro/flox mixture to fill these areas. I will sand these areas down tomorrow leaving as much as I can. I sanded the entire fairing to shape again and I believe that after tomorrows sanding, I'll be done with the shaping of the fairing. I will still need to work on the transitions from the fairing to the canopy skirt and the feathering of the leading edge of the fairing to the top skin.
