Brief Description: Glassed the Bow of the Windscreen
Glassed the Bow of the Windscreen. Cut fiberglass tape in strips ranging from 0.5" - 2.5" in 1/2" increments this time. The difference with this layup is that the 2nd and 4th layers have carbon fiberglass instead of E-glass. This will increase the stiffness of the fairing to withstand inadvertent hand placements. The top was easier to lay the glass upon and position right next to the tape. Prior to laying the fiberglass, I applied several applications of a mold release agent and then added a layer of car wax. I really didn't want to glue the canopy to the windscreen.
