Installed F-831-1 Right Seat Floor. This project was a royal PITA! One would think screwing in the floor would be a breeze. On several of the more difficult to access screws, the screws bound badly. This was caused by a combination of factors. The flooring didn't line up with the longeron hole. Or the longeron hole didn't line up with the nutplate. Or there was a combination of all the above. Either way, a small misalignment caused great angst. To this, add the tightness of a fresh nutplate and you have a very frustrating situation. To get the floor installed, I enlarged the srew holes in the floor to #12 size. Then some of the nutplates had to be re- tapped. Finally, with great difficulty with riveting, a couple of nutplates had to be replaced.
