Brief Description: Sanded the Exterior of the Left Skirt
Sanded the Exterior of the Left Skirt to finish the lip/side transition and to level the surface. In summary, I have just applied epoxy/micro/cabosil slurry to both exterior side panels of the skirt, sanded nearly the entire mixture off in an effort to fill the weaver and pinholes and to level the surface. What a waste of time! I am back to where I started, yet, I am now where I should be. This is because the epoxy/micro/cabosil should be used to change the shape of the skirt and to level the surface. This what I have. The filling of the pinholes needs to be done with repeated applications of an epoxy and acetone 50:50 mixture that is squeeged off with each application and each layer allowed to become tacky between applications.
