Brief Description: Fit and Gap Sealed Top & Bottom Empennage Fairings
Fit and Gap Sealed Top & Bottom Empennage Fairings. The bottom fairings were cut to underlie the top fairing that wraps around the leading edge of the Horizontal Stabilizer. A 2 ply layer of glass was layed from this top empennage wrap around to lay on top of the forward edge of the bottom empennage fairing. This will secure the bottom's forward edge as well as provide a nice transition. I'm really glad that I went this route for sealing the Empennage Gaps. The fabricated bottom fairings are fitting quite well.
