Wired the VoiceFlight Box. Attached the Approach FastStack cable to the 37 pin d-sub connector. Wired power to the Fwr 10A Terminal with a 1 amp fuse inserted. Rewired the GPS transmit to the ELT using crimp pins and shrink wrap. I still need to install a Push Button referred to as the VAS used to activate the system to listen to voice commands for flight plan programming. I need to decide where I will install the USB Updating Port. Finally, I need to solder some wires to the Pilot's Microphone Jack. These wires will carry the voice commands to the system when the VAS button is depressed. A nice feature of the system is the ability to program flight plans by plugging a iPad into the mic jack and transferring a flight plan from the iPad to the system which then enters the plan into the G430W. No knob seemingly endless knob twisting.
